Interested in probing deeper into a ‘how’ for belonging? Recognition could be the answer.

Wait, but how to recognize someone, such as a colleague? What can we say when we are recognizing someone?

The following word-for-word content from Appreciate: Celebrating People, Inspiring Greatness (2017) tells us how to go about this:

Situation — what was the challenge or opportunity the person was faced with?

Action — what specific actions did the person take to overcome the challenges?

Impact — what difference did their actions make for the customer, team, or organization?

Link — how did their actions link to what the team or organization values?
